Lao Bei Fang Dumpling House

Lao Bei Fang Dumpling House
Lao Bei Fang Dumpling House is known for its hand drawn noodles, noodle soups, and, of course, dumplings. It's fun to watch the noodles being made. Once they're made, they go straight into boiling water. These noodles are served fresh.

Making Noodles at Lao Bei Fang

I had a fishball and noodle soup for $4.50. It was a large bowl of soup with fish balls, wantons, and greens. It was very filling. I was unable to finish it. I also had some fried dumplings. Surely that didn't help one bit. I was happy, though. I never enjoyed noodle soups as much as I enjoyed this bowl of soup.

Fish Ball and Wonton Noodle Soup
My friend had wonton noodle soup for under $4 along with some fried wonton, a good lunch.

Did I mention fried dumplings? Of course I did!

Fried Dumplings

Lao Bei Fang is not a fancy place. It's simple, unpretentious, and friendly. You can bring children, too. They'll love watching the noodles being made. I enjoyed watching as well. It seems so easy, but it takes lots of practice.

Fascination!

She even got a lesson in noodle making along with some dough for practice. That's friendly!
